Knabe Labs engineered and installed a sophisticated, ground-up show control system for EVIL Robots, a sci-fi escape room hailed as one of the most technologically advanced experiences in America. At the core of this immersive attraction is a powerful Central Control Interface, giving operators full control over every interactive element, from real-time puzzle monitoring to adaptive gameplay adjustments.

Featuring hundreds of synchronized polyphonic audio cues, DMX-driven lighting effects, and pneumatic animations, the system creates a pulse-pounding, fully immersive atmosphere. A custom Unity application serves as an interactive puzzle hub, seamlessly communicating with the PLC to deliver complex gameplay mechanics.

A towering 8-foot servo-driven robot takes center stage, running pre-programmed sequences while also allowing players to take control for a thrilling, hands-on moment. Additionally, the system leverages BrightSign units to drive dynamic visual content across multiple screens, with the flexibility to jump between sequences or reset the game instantly to accommodate varying gameplay outcomes.
